Director of pharmaceutical company detained in Bishkek for giving bribe
Director of a pharmaceutical company was detained for giving a bribe on an especially large scale in Bishkek. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
The fact of tax evasion on an especially large scale by the pharmaceutical company A.K., which is headed by a citizen of a foreign state, was revealed.
«According to the results of tax audit, facts of evasion of taxes in the amount of more than 17 million soms were revealed. Representatives of the company, in order to reduce the amount of tax payments and create favorable conditions for the further course of investigation of the criminal case, began to persistently offer monetary rewards for resolving the issue,» the statement says.
The director of the pharmaceutical company and an intermediary were caught red handed during transfer of $40,000. Both were placed in the temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security.
The investigation is ongoing.
