Sale of dollars continues: National Bank intervenes again
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan intervened for the second time in April. Website of the central bank of the country reports.
In total, $18,440 million were sold with settlements on the date of the transaction and $22,530 million with settlements other than the date of the transaction. In total, the National Bank sold $87,070 million on the market.
Exchange rate of the dollar to the som in commercial banks remains unchanged. It is bought for 87.4 — 87.5 soms, and sold for 88.3 — 88.32 soms. But the nominal rate set by the National Bank has grown. Today it is 87.52 soms (0.01 percent growth).
Since the beginning of the year, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has conducted eight interventions selling dollars for a total of $440,540 million.
