Aitmatov district to appear in Talas region of Kyrgyzstan
The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the law on renaming Kosh-Dobon ayil aimak of Kochkor district in Naryn region, some villages in Osh and Talas regions and Kara-Buura district in Talas region. Press service of the head of state reported.
The document was adopted by the Parliament on February 22.
According to it, Kosh-Dobon aiyl aimak of Kochkor district in Naryn region was renamed into Ormon-Khan. Borbash village in Bel aiyl aimak of Nookat district in Osh region was renamed into Kairagach village. Kara-Buura district of Talas region was renamed into Aitmatov district. The village of Chymgent of Cholponbai aiyl aimak in Kara-Buura district of Talas region will be called Cholponbai village.
The law comes into force from the day of its official publication.
