Batch of drugs worth more than 6.5 million soms seized in Bishkek
Employees of the State Service on Drug Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, together with the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, suppressed the activities of a large channel for the supply of psychotropic substances that came from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The joint special operation was developed within six months. It resulted in the arrest in Bishkek of one of people involved in the supply of drugs.
«With the assistance of the special forces of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek, 22-year-old A.R. was detained. He took four half-liter plastic bottles from a stash and tried to escape. The total weight of the seized mephedrone amounted to 1,194 grams. This is 7,164 single doses of synthetic drugs worth 6,567 million soms,» the statement says.
