Residents of Kyrgyzstan spent $160 million online in 2022
Residents of Kyrgyzstan spent $ 160 million online last year. Ozon CIS Operations Director Alexey Sapon said at COM.E ON conference on Friday.
According to him, the figure is even higher in Russia — $ 84 billion. This is primarily due to the fact that the Russian Federation has a large population. Therefore, the Russian market needs goods from Kyrgyzstan.
«We know that the garment industry is developed in Kyrgyzstan. We need clothing to expand the range of products. Clothing is a growing category. Last year there were 17 million purchases in this category on Ozon. Our analysis shows that this growth will continue,» Alexey Sapon said.
