Hajj 2023: SDMK cancels VIP package for pilgrimage
VIP package of services for the pilgrimage for 2023 was canceled due to lack of the required number of applicants. The Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK) informed 24.kg news agency.
«We offered those who wished to stay in paid hotels. But it turns out that we should book the whole hotel with at least 400-450 rooms in this case. There are not so many applicants, so this service was canceled. All pilgrims will live in equal conditions, in hotels provided by Saudi Arabia,» the SDMK said.
The price of the VIP package of services was $5,000.
The cost of the Hajj for citizens of Kyrgyzstan in 2023 will be about $3,900. Saudi Arabia allocated 6,000 quotas for pilgrims from Kyrgyzstan.
