Foreigner detained for murder in Issyk-Ata district
A foreigner was detained for murder in Issyk-Ata district of Chui region. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of the region reported.
The police received information about the body of a local resident with traces of violent death found in one of the houses in Ivanovka village on April 9. Investigators found more than ten stab wounds on the body.
At the same time, a citizen, who lives at the address where the body of the murdered man was found, was admitted to the surgery department of the territorial hospital with cuts to the elbows of both hands.
The 39-year-old foreign citizen was detained on suspicion of committing the murder. A 25 centimeters long knife with traces of blood was confiscated from him.
The suspect was placed in a detention center. The investigation is ongoing.
