44.9 tons of gold stored in vault of National Bank of Kyrgyzstan
There are 44.9 tons of gold in the vault of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan. The Chairman of the temporary parliamentary commission on Kumtor, Arslan Maliev, told at a press conference.
According to him, the members of the commission were personally convinced of the presence of the precious metal in the National Bank.
«We ourselves opened each box, touched it. The National Bank recently bought another 2 tons, so there are already 47 tons now,» he said.
It should be noted that according to the results of the work, the deputy commission did not find any facts of the theft of gold at Kumtor. In addition, deputies could not find confirmation of the export of gold to Turkey.
