Accused sentenced to life in prison for brutal murder of man in Kara-Suu
The Kara-Suu District Court ruled against a citizen, who was found guilty of murder. The verdict of the Osh City Court says.
The accused was sentenced to life imprisonment.
«The defendant, along with his accomplice, put a man in the car at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border near Dostuk checkpoint. The latter was in the front seat, the accomplice was behind him. The passenger was strangled, and then, to hide the traces of the crime, they buried the man in a field. The accused, together with his friend, stole $100,000, as well as 20,000 Uzbek sums,» the verdict says.
The defendant appealed against the decision of the first instance, but the Osh City Court upheld it.
