Number of drunk drivers decreases by 76 percent in Kyrgyzstan
The number of drunk drivers decreased by 76 percent in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Central Traffic Safety Department reported.
The conclusion was made on the basis of a weekly analysis.
«Over the past week, 57 drunk drivers have been detected in the republic. At least 237 people were detected for the same period last year. Thus, the number of drivers driving while intoxicated has decreased by 76 percent,» the statement says.
Requirements for drivers were tightened in the country on March 8. They apply to those who drive under the influence of alcohol.
