Germany hosts cultural evening about Kyrgyzstan
A cultural evening about Kyrgyzstan was held in Berlin, organized as part of the exhibition Snow Leopard Expedition by the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The event was attended by members of Embassies and Residences group of Willkommen in Berlin Club, as well as representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Berlin. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev noted that such evenings in Germany can help local residents get acquainted with Kyrgyzstan and bring the cultures and peoples of the two countries closer together.
NABU representative in Kyrgyzstan Ekaterina Kovtun provided the guests of the evening with extensive information about project to protect the snow leopard and wildlife, and also gave a tour of the NABU exhibition Snow Leopard Expedition at the Embassy. The guests were also able to taste Kyrgyz national dishes.
