Aigul-Tash nature reserve closed for tourists for three years
Aigul-Tash nature reserve has been closed to tourists for three years. The Forest Service reported with reference to the decision of the district state administration.
The ban is imposed from April 1, 2023 to April 1, 2026. This decision was made in order to preserve and increase the number of Aigul flowers.
Aigul, or moon flower, is a plant, its scientific name is Fritillaria eduardii Regel (Eduard’s Fritillaria). It is included in the Endangered Species List.
