Summit of Organization of Turkic States: Earthquake is on agenda
The main agenda of an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be the devastating earthquakes that occurred in Turkey in February this year. The state television channel TRT Haber reported.
The summit will be held at the presidential complex in Beştepe district of Ankara. The priority agenda of the summit will be natural disasters in Turkey and further joint steps to be taken by the member countries of the organization.
The extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held with the participation of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as Turkey.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Turkmenistan and Hungary will also take part in the summit as observer countries.
President Sadyr Japarov arrived in Ankara on Wednesday and met with the Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
