Foreign Minister of Turkey thanks Kyrgyzstan for help, support after earthquake
Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
Ruslan Kazakbaev conveyed condolences to the Turkish people on behalf of the President Sadyr Japarov, Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev and the people of Kyrgyzstan in connection with the numerous casualties as a result of the devastating earthquakes that occurred on February 6 in Turkey.
Mevlut Cavusoglu thanked Kyrgyzstan for help and support in a tragic time for the Turkish people, which further united the peoples of the two countries and opened a new page in Kyrgyz-Turkish relations.
The diplomats discussed the development of bilateral trade and economic relations, including through the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Development Fund, attracting Turkish investments to Kyrgyzstan and resolving disputes between Turkish companies and the Kyrgyz side.
