Bishkek to host Francophonie Week
The French Alliance in Bishkek, together with the Embassies of France, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada and the Delegation of the European Union in Kyrgyzstan, will hold the Francophonie Week from March 9 to March 18. The Embassy of Switzerland reports.
The festival includes educational, cultural and recreational activities. Its theme is travel in 2023.
Francophonie Week is a festival of the French language and cultures of the French-speaking countries, which is celebrated annually in mid-March around the world.
The week will begin with a screening of the French documentary film «Snow Leopard» at Ala-Too cinema (admission is free). In total, there are 20 different events in the program.
