Monitoring of e-waste planned in Bishkek
It is planned to monitor electronic waste in Bishkek. Press service of the City Hall reported.
The issues of joint work on monitoring were discussed by the Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Zhyrgalbek Shamyraliev with representatives of Promoting Sustainable Development Center from Almaty (Kazakhstan).
The City Hall added that monitoring would be carried out in four countries of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan), following which an analytical review and important steps and measures necessary for the environmentally sound management of electronic waste would be prepared. «Then, within the framework of the project, a National Forum will be held to discuss the problems of handling electronic waste,» the City Hall added.
