Market sellers hold rally in Bishkek demanding to cancel use of cash registers
Sellers of several markets held a rally in the Maxim Gorky park in Bishkek.
Entrepreneurs trading in Dordoi-Dyikan, Dordoi-Motors, Aziz Bazaar, Osh Bazaar and other markets participated in the protest.
The participants oppose the introduction of cash registers, use of electronic consignment notes and a single tax on trading activities.
«The law that was made by Akylbek Japarov, it turns out, is higher than our income. We work at wholesale, grocery market. We do not earn as much as the authorities require. We do not avoid taxes, let them impose a tax in accordance with our income,» Chinara Tashbayeva, a rally participant, said.
