Film by director from Kyrgyzstan recognized as best at Los Angeles Film Festival
The feature film directed by Guzel Duishenkulova from Kyrgyzstan «Kelin Tash» was recognized as the best in two categories at the Los Angeles Independent Women Film Awards. Official website of the Cinematography Development Fund reports.
The film won in two categories: «Best feature short film» and «Best female director.»
The film «Kelin Tash» tells about women striving for freedom. It was filmed based on the story of the same name by the writer Topchugul Shaydullaeva with the support of Kyrgyzfilm film studio.
The competition is held every two months in the form of an online festival.
