Earthquake in Turkey: Rescuers from Kyrgyzstan returning to Bishkek
The Embassies and Consulates of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey have carried out an active work in recent weeks. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev said at a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration.
He noted that Turkey stopped the rescue work.
«Our rescuers are returning to Bishkek. Diplomats on duty will also be recalled from the earthquake zone. They worked actively. Unfortunately, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan died. Our employees identified her and sent her body to homeland,» Jeenbek Kulubaev said.
