Labor Ministry and OSCE to work together to combat human trafficking
The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan, together with the OSCE, intends to combat human trafficking. Press service of the ministry reported.
The head of the department, Kudaibergen Bazarbayev, met with the OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Valiant Richey.
They discussed the actions of the Cabinet of Ministers to curb human trafficking and the implementation of the program adopted within this framework for 2022-2025. The parties also discussed the national mechanism for referral and assistance to victims of human trafficking.
Following the meeting, the parties stated that they would also jointly oppose illegal migration.
