Drinking water supply suspended in Osh city
Supply of drinking water was suspended in Osh city. Press service of the City Hall reported.
According to Oshgorvodokanal municipal enterprise, due to heavy rains and mudflows, the level of water turbidity in Ak-Buura river exceeded the norm, and the supply of clean water to all districts of Osh, except for South-East, KhBK, Turan microdistricts, Dostuk and Kalinin residential communities was temporarily suspended.

It should be noted that the residents of Osh use the water from an open reservoir — Ak-Buura river, which flows from Papan reservoir. During rains and mudflows, water in the river becomes muddy and the water supply to the city is stopped.
