New buses start serving routes in Bishkek
New buses were put in operation. Maksat Nusuvaliev, Director of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
According to him, 50 buses have started serving their routes today.
At least 1 billion soms was allocated from the city budget for the purchase of buses in 2022. The City Hall purchased them from Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd.
124 more buses purchased under the EBRD project should arrive in the first half of 2023. A total of 250 units will be purchased through it. In addition, 120 electric buses will be purchased under the ADB project.
