Kyrgyzstan approves national standard for Braille
National standard «Braille symbols and design of publications in Braille» was approved in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy of the Parliament Dastan Bekeshev announced on Twitter.
«It is finally all over with interpretation of Kyrgyz letters written in Braille. This is great news for the blind!» he noted.
Introduction to the standard says that it regulates the basic principles of organizing Braille text, which contribute to the most effective perception and use of Braille, as well as the rules for the design and layout of publications in Braille, a list of designations and rules for their use, designed for mass use publications.
