Kyrgyzstan interested in developing cooperation with Slovenia - Akylbek Japarov
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Slovenia Tanja Fajon. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
The parties exchanged views on the issues of intensifying bilateral and multilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment and other areas of mutual interest.
Akylbek Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan was interested in development of trade and economic cooperation with Slovenia. He stressed the importance of giving a new impetus to expanding trade and economic cooperation and building up production and investment cooperation.
«The most priority areas for us are such as hydropower, mining, agriculture, IT industry and tourism. We are creating all the conditions for full-scale economic cooperation with all our partners,» the head of the Cabinet said.
Tanja Fajon noted that the visit of the Slovenian delegation to Kyrgyzstan, which included representatives of large international companies, was a success. She stressed that 2024 would mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, in connection with which there are good grounds for continuing fruitful cooperation.
