Member of non-governmental association detained in Jalal-Abad for extortion
A member of Anti-Corruption Public Assistance Myizam Nuru Non-Governmental Association was detained for extortion. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
Inspector of the association was caught red-handed while taking money. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 208 «Extortion» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It was found out that the woman extorted money from the director of one of the kindergartens, threatening to hand over incriminating materials she allegedly had to law enforcement agencies.
