Passage of trucks through Torugart-Avtodorozhny checkpoint suspended
The passage of trucks through Torugart-Avtodorozhny checkpoint has been temporarily suspended. The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
These measures are connected with the collapse of rocks on one of the sections of the road in the territory of China.
«The Chinese side is clearing the road. The Border Service of Kyrgyzstan asks drivers of trucks waiting to cross the border to take the situation with understanding. Resumption of operation of the checkpoint will be announced later,» the Border Service said.
The Border Service noted that Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhny checkpoint in Osh region continues passage of citizens, vehicles and cargoes as usual.
