E-voting procedure to be tested in election of deputies of rural councils
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov scheduled elections of deputies to rural councils in Naryn, Batken, Osh, Talas and Chui regions. Press service of the head of state reported.
The election campaign will be held in connection with the expiration of terms of office. Voting is scheduled for April 9.
The Central Election Commission was instructed to organize holding of elections, to consider the possibility of testing of remote, electronic voting procedures in a pilot mode.
