Foreigner detained in Bishkek for creation of drug laboratory
A foreigner was detained in Bishkek for creating a clandestine drug laboratory. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
Members of a drug trafficking group were detained as part of the initiated criminal case. During the search, marijuana, precursors for the manufacture of mephedrone synthetic drug, appropriate devices and instructions for manufacture were seized from them.
The detained foreigner admitted his guilt and confirmed an attempt to create a drug laboratory. He was placed in the temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security.
Investigative and operational activities are ongoing to identify other participants in the drug trafficking channel.
The State Committee for National Security noted that an increase in the consumption and distribution of synthetic drugs, especially among young people, was registered in the republic, which creates real threats to national security and the health of the younger generation.
