Price of rice grows by almost 5 soms for month in Kyrgyzstan
Medium-grain rice rose in price by 4.7 soms in January. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan provided such information.
If on January 2 it cost 93.88 soms on average in the country, then by the end of the month it increased in price to 98.58 soms. At the same time, the price of the product grew the most in Pokrovka village, Manas district, Talas region (23.97 soms), as well as in Balykchy (20.89 soms) and Kerben (10.08 soms). At the same time, the cost of rice has not changed in Uzgen, Kara-Suu, Razzakov and Jalal-Abad.
The lowest price of medium-grain rice was registered in Uzgen (88.01 soms), and the highest — in Kara-Balta (123.69 soms).
