Gasoline to fall in price by 2-3 soms in February
Retail prices for gasoline may drop by 2-3 more soms in February in Kyrgyzstan. The President of the Oil Traders Association Kanat Eshatov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, gasoline has fallen in price by about 5-5.5 soms since December 2022. This happened due to a decrease in selling wholesale prices at factories in Russia.
«In November, the cost was still high, it began to decline a little in December. In January 2023, the price of gasoline at factories fell by 20 percent. As a result, retail prices have decreased in the country as well. The trend will continue in February and then everything will depend on the situation in the Russian Federation. Factories have already been notified of a 10 percent price increase. But it is difficult to say what the final purchase price will be,» Kanat Eshatov said.
