Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits Ala-Archa Park, tries national cuisine
The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was taken to Ala-Archa Park and treated to national cuisine. The informal meeting of the heads of the two states took place on Friday, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«National yurts were installed in Ala-Archa Nature Park to familiarize guests with the traditions of the Kyrgyz people and an exhibition of folk arts and crafts was organized there. A blacksmith’s tent was also installed, where chain mail, helmets, shields, military belts and jewelry of ancient masters were presented. According to ancient tradition, the blacksmith bends a red-hot piece of metal on the anvil, makes a horseshoe, then shoes the horse near the tent. In addition, the leaders of the countries tasted traditional Kyrgyz dishes,» the statement says.
Muras folklore and ethnographic group performed for the distinguished guests.
