Sadyr Japarov: Having resolved border issue, we laid foundation for development
«Today we are completing the process of delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border. This is a truly historic event,» President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said on Friday during a meeting with the leader of Uzbekistan in an expanded format.
According to him, the parties have demonstrated their readiness for dialogue and search for mutually acceptable solutions to border issues.
Sadyr Japarov is convinced that by putting an end to border issues, the countries have laid a solid foundation for a solid and confident development and prosperity for future generations.
«It is especially noteworthy that such a significant event will be secured by the exchange of instruments of ratification as part of today’s state visit. We will also sign a declaration on a comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and thereby bring our relations to an unprecedented level of cooperation,» he said.
