According to the results of the second half of 2022, Kyrgyzstanis named the Ministry of Health as the most corrupt state body. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.

The residents of the country assessed the overall level of corruption at 26.5 points.

The population confidence index is estimated in points from −100 to +100. The higher is the score, the higher is trust. Respondents were asked three questions: «How much do you trust a certain government agency?», «How do you assess the level of corruption in it?» and «How do you rate its performance in general?»

At the same time, the ministry’s assessment is negative in three regions. These are Talas (-11.5 points), Chui (-14.7 points) regions and Bishkek (-17.5 points).

The three most corrupt are also the Ministry of Internal Affairs (12.5 points) and the State Agency for Architecture and Construction (12.8 points). The remaining departments scored more than 15 points.

According to the results of the second half of last year, only local government bodies of cities and towns of regional, district significance and rural districts were able to score 50.3 points. Offices of presidential envoys to the regions scored 47.1 points and the local state administrations — 45.6 points.

It is interesting that in the regional context, there are still positive indicators in most regions. People believe that there is corruption, but the situation is not so bad.

Residents of the city consider the State Agency for Architecture and Construction to be the most corrupt agency (-21.1 points). At the same time, the City Hall has the highest result — 27.3 points. Other departments either scored less than 20 points, or the indicators completely went in the negative.
