First part of Pechora-2BM air defense system to be delivered to Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan receives Pechora-2BM air defense missile system. Almazbek Karasartov, First Deputy Minister of Defense, announced at a meeting of the Parliament.
Deputy Alisher Erbaev asked whether Kyrgyzstan received air defense missile system promised by the CSTO partners.
«We will receive the first part today after lunch. This question concerns weapons, so I will answer you in writing,» the official replied.
In October 2022, the Minister of Defense Baktybek Bekbolotov said that a modern air defense system would be delivered to Kyrgyzstan from Belarus. It will be deployed in Batken region.
