Public transport fare for children, waste removal tariff to increase in Naryn
Public transport fare for children will increase to 10 soms in Naryn. Its City Hall reports.
According to it, schoolchildren currently pay 5 soms.
«Under the new project, the fare for adults and children will be 10 soms,» the City Hall noted.
In addition, the cost of garbage removal services will increase from 12 to 20 soms.
The City Hall added that the goals of the increase in tariffs were to cover the costs of garbage collection and increase the wages of workers, as well as to pay off the cost of travel of public transport due to the increase in the price of fuel.
The City Hall held public discussions on increasing garbage collection rates and fares in five districts of the city. The proposals have been submitted to the Naryn City Council for consideration.
