22.2 billion soms allocated from budget to Transport Ministry in 2022
The updated budget of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2022 is 22,229.6 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance provided such data.
Including the current budget amounted to 3,198.7 billion soms, payments through state investments — 13,797.1 billion soms and under capital investments item — 5,233.8 billion soms.
«Money from the current budget is directed to the medium (1,438.7 billion soms) and maintenance (315.8 million soms) road repairs, the purchase of bitumen (1,505.4 billion soms), as well as winter and summer maintenance of roads (234. 9 million soms). The Cabinet of Ministers created the Road Fund, therefore, from May 2022, the events are financed by the Road Fund,» the Ministry of Finance said.
