Rallies banned in Leninsky district of Bishkek until April 1
At the request of the municipal administration of the Bishkek City Hall for Leninsky district, the court issued a decision to limit the place of holding peaceful assemblies.
It is clarified that the district administration applied with such a statement. Based on the results of its consideration, the Leninsky District Court of Bishkek satisfied it.
The restriction on rallies will be in effect from January 16 to April 1 inclusive. The ban was found to be lawful and justified.
The decision was not challenged.
Recall, the Pervomaisky District Court imposed a moratorium on peaceful assemblies until March 31. The perimeter of the ban on holding rallies is expanding. Restrictions apply to Erkindik Boulevard (from Lineynaya Street to Chui Avenue. — Note of 24.kg news agency).
