Situation in Mailuu-Suu: Schools switch to online learning
In connection with announcement of an emergency situation in Mailuu-Suu, all educational organizations in the town have switched to online learning. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
Online learning will continue until the situation normalizes.
Recall, an emergency situation was declared in Mailuu-Suu on January 13. The pipes of the water supply system that supplies local residents with drinking water froze due to severe frosts. As a result, the supply of heat and clean water to the population was stopped.
The third term in schools in Kyrgyzstan was supposed to start on January 11, but due to abnormally cold weather, the school break was extended until January 15 inclusive.
