6-year-old girl with chronic malnutrition dies in Zhaiyl district
A six-year-old girl died in Zhaiyl district of Kyrgyzstan. The Health Care Coordinator for Chui region Baktygul Mamytova confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the girl had severe dehydration, unspecified bronchopneumonia, diabetes mellitus with ketoacidosis and sepsis.
In addition, the child was diagnosed with chronic malnutrition and dynamic intestinal obstruction.
It is known that the girl is from a socially disadvantaged and large family.
Law enforcement agencies started an investigation.
