Boy with special needs beaten in Bishkek
A video showing a child with disability being beaten appeared on social media.
The footage shows the teacher beats the child with a stick, other video shows how the boy is kicked.
According to human rights activist Nazgul Turdubekova, the boy’s mother wrote a statement to the police and asks not to distribute the video of the incident.
The Internal Affairs Department of Oktyabrsky district of the capital reported that a pre-investigation check was underway.
«It has been established that the incident occurred in one of the inclusive education centers in the 5th microdistrict of the capital. The boy has been attending the center since August 2022. Appropriate examinations have been scheduled, the investigation continues,» the department said.
