Police seize almost 15 kilograms of heroin in Bishkek
A 21-year-old man was detained on suspicion of illegal production of narcotic drugs in Bishkek. The press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.
At least 15 packets of heroin were confiscated from the young man. The total weight of the drugs was 14,950 grams.
«The cost of seized heroin on the black market is more than $220,000. A criminal case has been initiated. The suspect was placed in a detention center. The investigation into the criminal case is ongoing,» the department said.
