Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 659.5 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 658,832 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 659,525,309 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (100,706,290), India (44,679,139), Brazil (36,302,415), France (39,471,101), Russia (21,479,298), Turkey (16,919,638), Great Britain (24,365,688), Italy (25,021,606), Spain (13,670,037), Germany (37,313,240), Argentina (9,891,139), Iran (7,560,998) and Columbia (6,328,989).
At least 6,686,987 people died from the virus, including 1,092,456 people — in the USA, 693,734— in Brazil, 331,099— in Mexico, 530,698— in India, 213,997— in the UK, 183,936— in Italy and 385,682— in Russia.
At least 206,567 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,488,306 cases — in Kazakhstan, 249,217— in Uzbekistan, 17,721 — in Tajikistan.
