Keremet Bank case: Two SCNS employees detained
Two employees of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) were detained in Keremet Bank case. Own sources in law enforcement agencies informed 24.kg news agency.
One of them is the deputy head of the Investigation Service of the State Committee for National Security, the second is an investigator of the security services.
«It is known that, in addition to them, the Prosecutor General’s Office detained two employees of the bank, the director of the Bishkek branch and another man. The latter, according to some reports, is not an employee of the financial institution. All the detainees were placed in the remand centre 1 in Bishkek by a court decision. A measure of restraint against the SCNS employees will be chosen on December 23,» the sources said.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office initiated a criminal case under the articles «Money laundering», «Fraud» and «Forgery of documents» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
