Vaccination against hepatitis B starts in Osh city
Vaccination against viral hepatitis B among the adult population has begun in Osh. Press service of the City Hall reported.
Before vaccination, it is imperative to take tests for markers of viral hepatitis B using the rapid testing method.
The vaccine is highly immunogenic. Vaccination leads to the formation of specific antibodies in more than 90 percent of those vaccinated.
About 85,000 doses of two types of vaccine were delivered to Osh and the Osh region: the recombinant vaccine Regevak-B (Russia) and the hepatitis B (rDNA) vaccine (India).
Vaccination activities are carried out in vaccination rooms of Family Medicine Centers and General Medical Practice Centers.
