Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 649.7 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 609,843 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 649,700,361 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (99,470,198), India (44,676,045), Brazil (35,643,770), France (38,717,933), Russia (21,364,571), Turkey (16,919,638), Great Britain (24,281,498), Italy (24,709,404), Spain (13,632,635), Germany (36,812,671), Argentina (9,766,975), Iran (7,560,217) and Columbia (6,317,010).
At least 6,654,547 people died from the virus, including 1,084,651 people — in the USA, 691,015— in Brazil, 330,701— in Mexico, 530,658— in India, 213,508— in the UK, 182,419— in Italy and 384,749— in Russia.
At least 206,553 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,488,306 cases — in Kazakhstan, 248,210— in Uzbekistan, 17,721 — in Tajikistan.
