Temir Sariev to run for president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Former prime minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev will run for president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He told to 24.kg news agency.
Temir Sariev noted that he was nominated by representatives of the business community. «It was not my initiative. I was asked by entrepreneurs, heads of large companies, to take part in the elections, and I agreed,» he said.
The former head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marat Sharshekeyev resigned at his own will.
The Council of the Chamber scheduled an extraordinary, XI congress for December 19, where a new chairman will be elected.
