Kyrgyzstan could become leader in production of silicon products
Kyrgyzstan has every opportunity to become one of the leading countries in the production of silicon products. The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev said at a scientific and practical conference.
According to him, the development of industrial cooperation and the formation of high-tech industries would allow the EAEU to become independent of critical imports. In particular, these are microelectronics and pharmaceuticals sectors in Kyrgyzstan. He noted that the electronic industry was the basis of the economic prosperity of any state, which provides high-tech industries.
«Due to the rapid increase in demand for semiconductor chips, production of these products is growing at an unprecedented pace. At the same time, for the successful development of microelectronics, new projects must be commercially viable and satisfy not only the needs of the military-industrial complex and space programs, but also the civil industry. This means that reality itself will encourage the development of this area, without which it will be practically impossible to solve the problem of technological development of the Eurasian space,» Daniyar Amangeldiev said.
