Consul General of Kyrgyzstan asks US to extend terms of tourist visas
Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Chicago Bolotbek Borbiev asked the United States to extend the term of tourist visas to 10 years. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
According to it, the Consul General met with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Brian Stimmler.
The parties discussed protection of the rights and interests of Kyrgyzstanis in the United States, current issues in the consular sphere, including extension of the terms of tourist visas from five to ten years, as well as an increase in the daily throughput for an interview for an American visa at the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek.
