Heritage of Great Nomads Holding will be liquidated. This became known at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on budget, economic and fiscal policy.

According to MP Dastan Bekeshev, 700 million soms will be spent on the liquidation of the Holding.

«It had not even started work, and we already liquidate it and spend 700 million soms on this. On June 30 you asked to approve 7 billion soms, and we approved 3 billion. Will this money come back? If so, where can we see them?» he asked.

The head of the Ministry of Finance, Almaz Baketaev, replied that since 2022, the Holding has been capitalized in total for 3.4 billion soms. Almost 100 percent of this amount will be returned.

«We leave 700 million to cover the obligations. Claims of the Tax Agency amount to about 600 million soms, in the process of work, the Holding acquired licenses for the development and exploration of deposits. This amount is refundable. The Ministry of Natural Resources has claims for 11.8 million soms. In total, the expected income is 670-680 million soms, and 20-30 million are liabilities for wages and rent of premises. The Ministry of Natural Resources will take away the licenses,» the minister said.

When asked who would be responsible for creating the Holding for one person (obviously, this is Tengiz Bolturuk. — Note of 24.kg news agency), and then its liquidation, the officials could not answer.

Earlier, the head of the Cabinet, Akylbek Japarov, actually admitted that the organization was not working. According to him, the Holding was working on a dozen projects, the implementation of which was suspended due to the detention of Tengiz Bolturuk. Accordingly, the money allocated for these projects will be returned to the budget again.
