A joint declaration on the continuation of Fit for Partnership with Germany management training program for 2023-2025 was signed by the co-chairs of the management committee: Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanatbek Abdrakhmanov and representative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Heinz Hetmeier. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported.

Within the framework of the program about 100 direct contacts are established annually between potential business partners of Germany and Kyrgyzstan. Since 2016, under the coordination of the Business Education Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, 30 new contracts worth almost €8.5 million have been signed.

Domestic entrepreneurs will be able to undergo a training in Germany and adopt the best European experience in production and industry, as well as implement joint projects in Kyrgyzstan.

An intergovernmental agreement on the training of managerial personnel through Fit for Partnership with Germany program was signed in 2007.

The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. The program is being implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), on the Kyrgyz side since 2015 — by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Every year, Kyrgyz entrepreneurs get the opportunity to undergo a training in Germany. The German side takes on 90 percent of the financial costs. In 2022, implementation of a new format for training of managers began, which provides for mutual blended training of participants.

It alternates face-to-face and remote stages, while the stay in Germany is reduced to two weeks, and six weeks of online training helps to establish business with German companies.
